About Toby
Toby's working life began stripped to his underwear in an unheated hanger in the middle of December on a military base in
Surrey. His career as a soldier had started, taking him to cold, muddy ditches throughout the UK & Europe, snowy emergency shelters high in the Rocky Mountains & the extremes of life in the deserts of Afghanistan.
Ten years down the line he started a new career in an unheated warehouse in West London for a well know rental house. Starting as a driver, he soon moved in to kit prep where he developed a deep knowledge of the operation & maintenance of grip, lighting & camera equipment. Specialising in camera systems, Toby moved on to the company's crew pool filming on a range of reality & documentary programmes to large scale live arena events.
A few years later, Toby jumped into the freelance world where he has continued to work across the UK and overseas. He thoroughly enjoys his work and brings with him an extremely large bank of experience, enthusiasm & good vibes.
